This week is designed for athletes who want to arrive in Tenby confident, conditioned, and fully ready for the hills, the surf, and the intensity that makes Ironman Wales unique.
What You’ll Master This Week
- Power-based hill pacing for Saundersfoot, Wiseman’s Bridge and Heartbreak Hill
- Strength-endurance climbing sessions using precise power/HR zones
- Long descents with technique coaching for speed control and safety
- 6-week-out race simulations
- Open water skills and pacing using RPE, stroke rate and sighting
- Run hill management: controlled climbs, fast-but-safe descents
- Race-day nutrition strategy (Precision Fuel & Hydration + your current products)
- Transition efficiency under fatigue
- Mental preparation and race execution coaching
